Le Phunk's remix of Olav Basoski's Sample Love is my highlight here. The work he's done is subtle, but shifts the overall energy of the track from "summer pool party" to "peak hour workout". Highlighting the dissonant perc hit and pulling it forward in the mix makes the whole track land a little desperate. The way he changes the timing and order of the big anthemic chord progression brings this out even more, solidifying his intent. Repetitive, hypnotic, and laser-focused.
